Storz Coupling – Designed for pressure or vacuum service on hydrant, pumper, or ground. Maximum operating pressure is 250 psi (17 bar). The aluminum parts are hardcoat anodized for maximum corrosion protection. Hose couplings are attached using polymer bearing rings, which provide electrical isolation to help prevent galvanic corrosion. The material of ange is carbon steel.
The Storz Coupling is equipped with ‘locking lever devices’, so that the Storz cannot easily be rotated to the point of disengagement without positive action being taken.
